This tarp works great to filter our hot and very bright Arizona sun. We have to very large German Shepards dogs that have a huge pen where they like to relax and play during the day. Half of their pen is shaded with heavy duty tarp. During the hot sunny days they lose half their space. We installed tis tarp on the other half and it works great as an additional shaded area for our furry kids. It really does cut down te heat considerably. This tarp will work for just about any area you want shaded. I wish all our 5 acres were covered in this material. I got this sun shade to replace an old one that was worn out. This Sun shade seems to be made well and Im impressed with the hardware hooks and cables that look really strong for when its windy.
