The 21.3 inch red & silver chicken feeder is awesome! As always, the shipping from Wayfair is fast, fast, fast! This chicken feeder arrived fast, well packaged and had assembly instructions included. I like the overall design of this chicken feeder and the fact that it has a handle on top for easy transport, caps on the feeder ports to secure the feed overnight, and it's taller than most chicken feeders with it's long slender metal legs. With that said, I gave this feeder 4 stars instead of 5 because after filling it to capacity it became somewhat 'top heavy' with those long slender metal legs. My husband beefed the legs up to prevent the feeder from toppling over - which really made a difference. It's still a great feeder and I would recommend it. I ended up needing to drill larger holes on each leg or there would have been no way to actually attach them. Came in this morning. I ran it all day to make sure it was stable. My temp and humidity were correct. I had some eggs to put in for trial run. I was so excited with how nice it is I went to the auction and got more eggs so I could fill her up. So far I have seen it rotating the eggs and it seems gentle. The only issue I had was setting up the pump for the humidity. You only need to cut one piece of tube to go into the water bottle and follow the diagram for how to wind the tube. It kept popping off for me but I realized you wrap it and then put the cover on it and the cover will hold that piece in place. It’s not hard I just made it hard in my mind. You do hear it running compared to my still air incubator but it’s like a refrigerator if you listen for it you will hear it. Turning the eggs makes noise but not enough to be a concern.
