The tub can accommodate 2 adults. It is a tub that you "sit" in versus recline back due to the angle of the sides but it's still very comfortable & deep! I love the modern matte white finish. This tub is amazing! I looked at tons of freestanding tubs, compared brands, materials used (this one is like stone not cheap acrylic), and prices (Wayfair has the best price for this tub than anyone else). I liked that I could actually get in touch with the manufacturer (Clarke) and I even spoke to Don Clarke who answered so many of my questions. I was concerned after reading reviews, about the center drain popping up and asked if this happens. I was told "no" but "yes" it does pop up if you bump it. However, the tub is so roomy that doesn't happen often. I also wanted at lower tub that I could step "in" easily and not step "over". This tub was perfect. It's extremely heavy and delivery guys dropped it when delivering and chipped the bottom. Wayfair gave me a credit for the chip. All in all, Clarke offered great customer service. I couldnt imagine trying to get it up an interior stairway. Ive read some other reviews that complain of it not retaining heat. My experience is the opposite. I ordered the 55" and I'm 5'5 and can fully stretch out my legs so huge plus! the curve on the back also seems very ergonomic, so I think this will be a very comfortable soaker! As far as quality, this thing seem solid. I wanted solid surface for the heat retention but bonus that this doesn't have any of the creaks/give that a fiberglass/acrylic tub has. Delivery was also very smooth, and my tub looks perfect (no marks, scratches, or other blemishes I've seen in other reviews).
