This was a great buy. The instructions were very helpful, use the app as well. I am mechanically and electrically savvy and this took me 9 hours start to finish including electrical work. I do like this swing. It was quite easy to put together, just watch as some of the bolts are similar in size. The part I don’t like is the chain placement, I think over time it will indent the arm of the swing. It has started to already as you can see in the one picture. We even operate our own cedar sawmill that produces lumber for our furniture! Northern white cedar is extremely light and quite soft but boasts excellent decay resistance and strength despite these characteristics. Cedar Log is our most complete collection, and one of our most popular lines of furniture. Seeing as we have more than 25 years of experience building it, we have it down to a science - as such, no one can boast a more solidly-built, beautiful natural log furniture.

The craftsmanship of the precut wood is beautiful. But... (1) Building this box is a bigger project than I expected. (2) There are no pre-drilled pilot holes on the legs, which creates potential for slight but significant measuring errors, especially when the screws go through knots.
