This is a safe machine with a clean design. My one cat took to it on day 2 and my other cat I had to place in the litter box for a week but now uses it without any trouble. The app is great. I really like the size and shape of this litter box, it fits nicely into the corner. My cat had a little trouble using it at first because it scared him, but he uses it now. The only issue I have with him is he has learned to throw the litter out through the door.. which can get messy, as you can see in the photo.. otherwise,It works quite well. I love how open it is. I kind of wish this one came with the step. Im not sure if the cats would use it, though. I already have one, and it has the front opening. My cats are both good size. This ones a little bit easier. I think for cats to go in and out of. Im not sure how long the bottom piece will last as it seems to be more material than hard plastic. I have had this now for about a month and I love it. I plan on getting another one and replacing the other one as they use this one most often. The other is the typical small opening and the waste draw is small and always needs to be adjusted as nothing falls forward and I can't find the right size bags, no company to order supplies from..
