This has been a great addition to our cats’ furniture collection! The smalleryounger cat loves to sleep on the flower on top, which is made of something like memory foam, but a bit denser. I imagine it is somewhat self-heating and also helps to hold onto the heat from the window. My largest cat loves the middle level basket. She will curl up in it for hours and has since I took it out of the box. Her sister is terrified of the entire thing and avoids even being near it. I have no idea why. I picked it because it had 3 levels, and they are always together, but it has not appealed to her yet. Don’t tackle assembly until you are feeling patient and have plenty of time. It took three hours to assemble, but all the parts were present and it wasn’t hard… just time consuming to get it right. Love this! Easy to assemble and looks good in my kitchen. Only two issues: shelf opening is not large enough for my treat containers so I put them all inside of the "food holder' and the food/water tray on the bottom is not easy to pull out/push in so I'll need to leave them out - which defeats the purpose. When fully closed it looks so nice and sleek. I opted to use the top for my coordinating glass jars filled with dry goods and will use the 'leash' holders for kitchen mitts and towels.
