Our newest, best, and easiest to use control. This system controls four fan speeds in forwarding and full-range light dimming. To better adapt to the changing world of light bulb technology, this control system features a CFL Auto-Detect feature that prohibits light dimming if non-dimming CFL bulbs are used in the fan. It also is our first control that eliminates dip switches and frequency interference through the use of Learning Code Synchronization. Similar to garage door programming, the fan, and control are paired together when installed with a unique pairing code automatically. Wayfair has a superior Customer Service attitude, equal to or better than Lands' End. This was our first (but definitely not last) order from WF. It arrived exactly as pictured but a corner of the frame was cracked due to the staple used to join the pieces. I submitted a description of this defect and a request to return it for a replacement. Your online system handled everything and surprisingly did not request sending the defective item back. In fact you beat the expected delivery date by three business days! This level of customer service was not met by a competitor seller of movie posters who required returning the defective item, no problem, but paid for by us. The fan is quiet and very powerful with multiple settings. However the light is a horrible yellow tint and hurts the eyes, from dim through full brightness. A modern fan like this should allow users to be able to change the color temperature from yellow to bright daylight around the 5000k range.
