I thought about getting an ice cream maker machine and I’m so glad I got this. I read you need rock salt for machines and this bowl requires nothing. You just need to freeze it. I bought this item a week ago and I'm looking to return it as soon as possible. This blender will not blend anything more solid than a banana. And it's probably going to get stuck blending that.
