The door looks great however it is very heavy. The door itself was easy to assemble but installing the slide bar was very difficult. I wouldn’t have purchased it if I had known how hard it would be. Really solid door, paint finish is amazing, but it is not really very printable. It would need to be scuffed up well to take any paint, so when one side accidentally had trim applied to it and there were tiny nail holes after we removed the trim strip the painters were concerned about painting the whole door because the finish wouldn't be as good if they had to prep the whole door and eventually the paint-over could fail vs if we just kept most of the door untouched and just painted the one style to cover the small nail holes. We bought three of these gorgeous doors. They make the most incredible statement. I highly recommend them. You can leave them bare, but we decided to add a quick stain and clear coat. They are designed with interior sliding system which allowed us to keep wall space on both sides of barn doors to display our artwork. They make the MOST INCREDIBLE statement. I ordered this beautiful door, I received a door within a week, unfortunately it was the wrong door, sent it back with ease from Wayfair and re ordered the door, wrong door again, Wayfair graciously picked up the wrong door, I ordered the door from another company to see if i had the same experience , again the wrong door, I believe the company that Wayfair buys it from is confused. Needless to say I had to switch doors, ordered from another company and still have not received my door after 2 months, what is with barn doors? What a nice door and to think the customer support man helped me find it! All I can say is that it arrived quickly and is the perfect replacement for my old basement door which was letting the draft in during this past cold weather and it really was freezing here in Oklahoma!
