I actually really like this TV stand in my space! It’s allows me to free up a lot of space and make the most of my living room. It’s sleek, and pretty easy to assemble. I would’ve give it 5 stars if I was more confident in the stability. This is a 55” TV yes it holds it, but I suspect if one of my kids hits it, it’s going down. Very easy to assemble. All parts fit together with ease and logic. Beautiful wood color. Very sturdy feeling. As noted by another reviewer, the base prevents it from sliding beneath a sofa (if that was an intention). I bought it knowing it wouldn’t slide under my sofa, but I now see that I could EASILY detach the base and it would slide under my sofa. I may do that in the future.
