I just love my new cooktop. The design makes it really easy to clean. In terms of performance, I noticed that cook times are a little bit shorter. The gas dial has a wide range, so I can go from very low to high flame. Also having an additional burner is great. I can have multiple meals going at the same time. Bought this several months ago. Although I sent the link with specs and installation instructions to the builder's subcontractor, he installed the grill on wood supports which is combustible. Of course, the builder blamed us for not buying via his subcontractor (which would have been much more expensive). After the subcontractor made a steel box with cement board to address the combustion issue, we discover he didn't allow room to pull the grease pans out. The grill seems like it will definitely be what we are looking for. We did read reviews and they were favorable for this brand and model. We have not installed it yet since the outdoor kitchen isn’t ready for it yet. The box came damaged and the frame is bent. That was a not something we expected from a grill that cost this much.. The recessed gas plug is a convenient outlet for natural gas or propane that can be hooked up directly to your house or RV gas system. This outlet is designed to be recessed into the wall with a fire-rated abs rough-in box, covered with a brushed finished stainless steel door that protrudes no more than 1/2" out from the finished surface. The gas plug (TM) door can be closed while the appliance remains hooked up. It is manufactured with an extra safety feature that ensures the gas supply is shut off before an appliance can be disconnected, which along with the lockable door provides the owner with peace of mind and a clean method of concealing pipes and valves.
