Very sturdy and easy to install. We installed ours over where a round doorknob used to be. We still need to add a little wood filler, stains and paint to cover a small bit of the hole in the door at the top of the handle. This went on my interior laundry roommudroom door. Due to humidity and occasional dampness, the old, cheap knobs would become hard to turn. I have issues with arthritis in my hands. This is so easy to use compared to the round knobs. Great quality and love the simple design. I didn't use this on a door that was made for a dummy handle, it was a working handle before. So the bolts didn't work with the hole that was already made in the door but I figured out a way to use a backer to hold it on. It won't be visible from the back so it works.. Susan. IN. I am so pleased with the door lever. I love the style and feel of it. I love the matte black finish. It works with a slight push down. It was fairly simple to install. (Besides the fact that we closed the door prior to installing the lever and then could not get it open.) This is for the pantry door in my kitchen and it was perfect for it. The Privacy Door Lever with Push Button and Round Rosette is a beautiful product, but unfortunately is does not fit on my Sunroom glass door. I gave the product a 5 star even I am unable to use it. I will return the product and take a picture from the website since I can't install it at my door.. After talking to Wayfair customer service I was informed that I do not have to return the item. I am so pleased with the door lever. I love the style and feel of it. I love the matte black finish. It works with a slight push down. It was fairly simple to install. (Besides the fact that we closed the door prior to installing the lever and then could not get it open.) This is for the pantry door in my kitchen and it was perfect for it. I definitely recommend this stylish door lever. (I would like to mention it looks like there is a push lock on the front end, but there is not.
