These were not hard to install, I watched a video. I really recommend a video, it makes the directions make sense. Getting it level is the hard part. Drilling the screws in was probably the harder part. The shades came the exact size I measured, kudos to the person who cuts them to size. These faux wood blinds are beautiful, and they fit perfectly in my window. They look very clean, and beautiful. Privacy is perfect. Hardware was easy to install. Light blocking is very good to keep out the sun rays without making it too dark in the room. Very easy to open and close. This is my second set and I love them. Works great and looks nice. Good value for the price. Easy to install. I definitely recommend them. They give you a variety of sizes to choose from, depending on the width of your window, whether you are installing inside mount, outside mount, or even ceiling mount.
