This is a beautiful tank that is well built. The set up directions were a little generic, they are used for all the models they sell. It doesn't say you need to shorten the hoses for the pump and the drain, but if you don't, they will kink. If you have used a sump before you will have an easier time than I did with set-up. They give you just enough filter media to start the tank but more is required. I ended buyer additional bio balls and filter media. I had a intermittent issue with one of the lights and the stand did not come with the inlay design on the doors but wayfair adjusted the price accordingly.. Brian. Tue Feb 25 2025

If they get too cool, their metabolism slows(and in conditions that are too hot or too cool, they enter states of inactivity or hibernation). Maintaining the appropriate temperature is vital to bodily functions such as digestion. It is important to provide the proper temperature conditions for the animal to grow and thrive.

Received this item and it is amazingly large and heavy. The bass alone is well made and I'm actually waiting for my stand to show up before I put it all together because just the bass is heavy to the point there's no way to assemble it and not have it in place. There's a lot of heavy foam surrounding the base and the glass walls come in a separate wrap box. Even with several sections of foam broken everything was intact as far as the base and the glass sheets wrapped separately. The price was on the Hefty side but after receiving the Box and taking everything out know that it seems to be worth it. The top vent has a locking system to keep it in place and is well constructed and not just screen which is exactly the way the side vents are made as well.
