This item is beautiful, functions great, I love that the tub spout can be moved out of the way, it's a high quality item that my contractor suggested I buy because it's all metal parts (not plastic parts that will break). We did a partial remodel and the tile regrout is next. Tub reglaze was done just before thus install and a truly great idea. Unfortunately, our plumber felt land locked into using a Symmons system to match our existing Symmons valve. We could not make Delta system work without a massive tear out. Universal valve didn’t solve the fit and screws in wrong location. So this Symmons was forced as Plan B. The Delta champagne gold was our intention and had already been installed in vanity without a problem. Not loving this very polished brass color. On the BRIGHT side The shower head is huge with 7 variations for water patterns. This is a 3rd floor main bathroom and I wish it had more pressure. 1.5 gpm and we are on a well. There were no install problems encountered by plumber using our original Symmons valve. And because it is a modestly priced unit, maybe we will swap out to a detachable spray head later on. Just know on the color - this is NOT even close to the Delta champagne gold. That is softer dreamy color and all quality, not at all like Symmons brushed brass. I was nervous that it wasn't a name-brand but it has worked very well. The rain shower-head is large and I like that it can pivot. The regular shower head works well and has various settings. I was also concerned that I would only be able to choose the water temperature but not the volume of water--no problem, the control allows for both volume and temp. I've been using it for about three weeks. All good. Update, within a few months, the shower head button wouldn't work.
