I just love my new cooktop. The design makes it really easy to clean. In terms of performance, I noticed that cook times are a little bit shorter. The gas dial has a wide range, so I can go from very low to high flame. Also having an additional burner is great. I can have multiple meals going at the same time. I must agree with the only other review, the cooling fan is very loud and high pitched. I do like the layout of the burners. This stove replaces another LG which the glass broke after 11 months. The cooktop works great, but I wanted induction. When I searched products by using the filters, this electric one was in the list. My fault for not double checking before I bought. The electric cooktop works great and heats food very quickly, but the surface is extremely hot, which is dangerously close to where my grandchildren sit at the counter. You will love the multiple sizes you can choose for the size pot or pan. It boils water fairly quickly. I like that you have to long press the buttons to turn on the elements so children wouldn’t accidentally turn on an element.
