The bed itself is beautiful and looks great in my guest bedroom—it feels solid and well-made, which is the only reason I’m giving it 4 stars. Unfortunately, everything else went downhill from there. As is often the case with Wayfair, the item arrived damaged. The wood had visible dings, screws were missing, and the shipment came in two boxes delivered on separate days, which delayed assembly. I am so disappointed with this purchase. The bed constantly shakes when someone moves on the mattress. I specifically paid a lot of money for a mattress that doesn’t bother your spouse when you move, but it’s the bed frame itself that is shaking. Even worse we’re the slades that are given to hold your mattress. They broke as soon as my small 10 year old sat on the bed. Needless to say it couldn’t hold adults.
