The LG dehumidifier works quite well. It's modern-looking, has a customizable humidity setting and a sensor that turns off the unit once the desired humidity level has been reached. It also senses when the bucket is full and when to clean the filter which is very easy to do. I purchased a PuriCare dehumidifier nearly three years ago and it is working beautifully. Our previously damp basement is now dry and comfortable. I have the dehumidifier drain into our sump pump basin so I don't have to empty the water bucket. It's very low maintenance. This is a great little dehumidifier. We got it for our basement because our old one was getting old and starting to have problems. This one is smaller and a lot quieter. The hose in the back is small. Our old one had a bigger hose and would still get clogged up so I'm concerned about that, but so far it hasn't been a problem. Overall, I'm glad we got it.. Michelle.
