I just love my new cooktop. The design makes it really easy to clean. In terms of performance, I noticed that cook times are a little bit shorter. The gas dial has a wide range, so I can go from very low to high flame. Also having an additional burner is great. I can have multiple meals going at the same time. This is my first induction cooktop. Didn’t know what to expect, but I got to say, it is wonderful. It heats quickly and cooks evenly at different temperatures. The controls are easy to see and use. It has different settings, like simmering that works great. I really like the configuration of the controls as well. Did I mention how nice it looks on our counter, picture attached. When I got the cooktop it came with all the necessary instructions and warnings including how not to scratch the ceramic top. We got our 30” range a week ago. It shipped out the same day I bought it, and arrived well-protected in lots of packaging. We were anxious about buying it sight unseen, but it is everything the website claims. I have always cooked on gas, and of course anticipated induction would be slow, etc. Instead, the learning curve for me is how incredibly fast and responsive the cooktop is. It’s kind of amazing. I’m very happy to have an electric oven that doesn’t vent like gas, as well - I can bake sourdough loaves free-form since the oven holds steam. And we love no longer having the inevitable “small leakages” of propane in the house. Overall, the range is gorgeous and high quality. I’m still puzzled, though, about the timer for baking/cooking. If I’m correct, there is a single timer available? I haven’t had time to explore that further yet - but I can’t imagine why on an electronic appliance there wouldn’t be at least a few timers available, and easily accessible (for all sorts of things - not just cooking with the range). The cooktop works great, but I wanted induction. When I searched products by using the filters, this electric one was in the list. My fault for not double checking before I bought. The electric cooktop works great and heats food very quickly, but the surface is extremely hot, which is dangerously close to where my grandchildren sit at the counter. You will love the multiple sizes you can choose for the size pot or pan. It boils water fairly quickly. I like that you have to long press the buttons to turn on the elements so children wouldn’t accidentally turn on an element. We cook A LOT, and we're a longtime Bosch family, and even though it's taking some getting used to cooking on induction vs. open flame, in general we're loving this appliance because it fits our limited available space, it's very intuitive to use, and it's super-easy to clean! On "con" = we find we're having to be extra-careful not to drag heavy pots across the cooktop (as we'd gotten used to doing on the very rugged cast iron grate of our gas cooktop at home) - this induction cooktop surface definitely feels more "delicate" than our gas cooktop grate.
