We purchased this for a new home build that had a slide in range in an island. We did not want an exhaust hood that hung down from the ceiling and this one was perfect for a flush mount in the ceiling. It was priced considerably less than other brands that had white glass finishes. There are a couple discoveries we made however. It did not turn on once the power was brought to the new build. We called Awoco and were told to check in the black box under the stainless grill, for a white connection that sometimes is disconnected. That solved the problem and the unit lit up and worked with the remote and the voice commands. Customer service was very helpful and seemed to know exactly what to look for. There is one other thing to be aware of with the voice command, occasionally it picks up what it believes to be a request for action and starts talking, asking for directions. We thought we were hearing voices until we realized it was the exhaust fan talking. This is my first stick vacuum, so I don't have anything to compare it to. I would give the suction 3 stars and the features 5 stars. I love the charging stand, I'm glad it doesn't have to go on the wall. It's also light and gets into corners easily. Bought this hood since I needed to replace my old one and I must say this thing is absolutely amazing!! Easy installation and it came in perfect condition with no damages at all, it has a motion detector for your hands so you don’t have to press any buttons which was very very cool, also it sucks up the smoke so fast and well. Definitely recommended if you need a hood for your kitchen. It has such a clean finish to it and it should go well with any kitchen. I definitely recommend this hood unlike other hoods that are slow this one will make sure your smoke alarm won’t go off if you are cooking and release too much smoke. DTV+ actually works great, make sure your installer(plumber and electrician read the installation requirements before install. My outlet is a dedicated circuit and running our system with the 6 valve mod., water pressure is set @60psi running an overhead rain shower, 2 separate his/hers wall mounted shower, his/hers separate body sprayers and 1 hand held.
