This is my second attempt at buying/using an ice maker. The first time I never worked and that’s bc it was a very poorly ventilated mobile home in Florida and the heat was too much. Now, I’m in a ‘regular’ home and thought I’d give it another’s try with this model and low and behold, this thing cranks out the ice non-stop and you don’t need to stand their while it’s doing it but it helps bc you do want to put the ice in your freezer - I used a metal mixing bowl and filled it to the top in mere minutes. It’s very easy to use, just pour water in, plug it in and about 9 cubes every 6 minutes as it states is true. I’m very pleased and I would whole-heartedly recommend this product fully.. Dean. I am giving this product 4 stars because it does not make ice as quick as it claim. From my pictures you will see 2 clocks one is the time I started which is at 5:10pm the other is the time I went to go check which is 5:25pm. The very first picture is how much ice it made in 15 minutes. Now do not get me wrong beside the claim of being quick this is a great product. It does make a full bin of ice just make sure you start it a little early before you may need the ice. I went to sleep with it on and I was shocked to see that in the morning there was a full bin of ice. It did not melt away the machine will stop until some of the ice is removed.
