I’m a novice at laying tile, however this tile didn’t disappoint me. I was able to pick it up and adjust it when I didn’t place in the right position but only once and not having applied pressure to it. I have had good luck since 2018 with Wayfair- however, while this floor is a high quality floor, it was not packaged or delivered with care. Every box received had broken pieces- we were unable to complete the floor - we are a few pieces short- we have had two different replacement boxes both came with every piece broken and unusable. This is an interlocking floor- it must not have broken edges. Customer service has been professional however the floor was ordered Nov 21st and as of today Dec 28 I still do not have what we need to complete the floor- this is a bathroom and the inability to use it is exasperating.. This flooring is perfect for the entry area of our house. Initially I was skeptical about ordering 'vinyl' type flooring - we had just put in new hardwood floors (acacia) which is pretty 'stout' and I didn't want something flimsy tying into it especially in a high traffic area. This Engineered Tile is definitely not flimsy, more like slate. I use a wood stove as my primary heat, so this entry sees a lot of heavy traffic and this tile handles it. I would buy it again.. Armstrong FINE FISSURED #1729 ceiling tiles are the classic, budget-conscious panel with a non-directional visual, standard acoustics, and different panel edges. Features a Square Lay-In 15/16 Edge Type.

These were exactly what our dated basement ceiling needed. Our space looks amazing and so fresh now! We painted our existing ceiling grid and then installed the new tiles in black. Overall, the tiles showed up in good condition. Some corners where a little damaged, but you just pick out the good ones for full tiles and use the damaged ones for the edges, where you have to cut them. A few tips from our experience: - Open all tiles and sort by the good full tiles and the slightly damaged ones for the cut pile. - Wear gloves when handling. the black will come off on your hands (washes off), but your skin oils may leave marks on the tiles so best to wear gloves. - I tried wiping tiles off with a damp clothe but it left subtle marks, so I would NOT suggest this. I would suggest using dry cloth first to clear off dust marks. I have not done it yet, but I plan to get paint to match and do some touch up.
