This shower door is a reasonably good product for the price. It took a little longer to put up than I anticipated but that was mostly due to having to drill through tile and I kept breaking or bending drill bits. Then going to get more. The glass itself is crystal clear and because there is no hardware (rods, rails or hinges) other than at the wall your bathroom feels larger. They are hygienic and easy to clean and last for years. For ease of cleaning we also offer glass with a ClearShield coating on both faces. ClearShield is a polymeric resin that bonds chemically with the glass to form a hydrophobic (water hating) coating on the surface of the glass. The coating is inert, transparent and non-hazardous but it causes the water droplets to bead up and run off the glass more readily than they do on ordinary glass, leaving less water behind (and any soap, limescale, bacteria or other residues). Consequently, far less cleaning is required to keep your shower screen looking like new, saving you time and effort. ClearShield also hinders bacteria growth for a more hygienic environment.
