The 12-inch. pieces interlock together easily. No digging is involved simply anchors in the provided anchor nails for long-term stability. Easier to create curves/angles than 4 ft. options. Smaller pieces virtually eliminate the need for cutting. 4 ft. rubber is very difficult to cut to length, 12 in. option works wonders 24 nails are included with the order. No digging involved.

Came upon this when looking for DIY pole holders. Purchased the larger size and am very happy. Product came with clear instructions and was easy to put together.
