This is my first induction cooktop. Didn’t know what to expect, but I got to say, it is wonderful. It heats quickly and cooks evenly at different temperatures. The controls are easy to see and use. It has different settings, like simmering that works great. I really like the configuration of the controls as well. Did I mention how nice it looks on our counter, picture attached. When I got the cooktop it came with all the necessary instructions and warnings including how not to scratch the ceramic top. This is a pretty nifty portable device, though make sure you thoroughly read the manual and safety precautions. I was planning to use it for camping and it says it should not be used outdoors, so good to know. I thought I would like not having knobs, but I have accidentally turned on a burner or two just wiping things off and sometimes the controls don’t pickup on the touch well.
