The instructions state to contact the manufacturer of the bed rather than Wayfair if there is a problem. I did that and then was told that I needed to contact Wayfair. I was happier than expected with this purchase. The painted finish is smooth and beautiful, and the wood is solid. It was super easy to assemble. It came with two sets of legs for different height options. It is a stable and sturdy piece. FYI - a standard boxspring will be visible above the side rails.
