Super soft and the no slip backing is pretty good. I like the long runner I bought as the pattern - which is kind of busy - has space to breathe. The colors are a bit more purple than I thought but overall it works in my kitchen. The smaller one I bought (18 x 24) is not as great as the pattern fels cluttered. Giving this a 4. I love the color, its really soft and I am using as a bath mat. I could not find a bath mat that looks upscale in this color. I would have given this a 5 but the color is printed showing white underneath. But it works in the bathroom not heavy foot traffic. I bought the smaller one for the shower mat.. Rr. Florida.
