We bought this for our 6 year old and she loves it. My husband and I (well, mostly him) put it together ourselves and while it took quite a while (because there's like 8000 pieces to it), the instructions were surprisingly clear. Some of the wood was warped and didn't fit together very we, but with a few tweaks we got it to work. Make sure there's a strong person available on delivery day because the driver needed my husband's help to get it off the truck. No way I would have been able to move those boxes. We researched swing sets for so long. We read so many reviews and stressed over it. We finally went with this one because it had a lot going on but was also compact for our small space. We love scavenger hunts, but there is a time and a place. Also, there were not enough of certain screwsbolts, and too many of others. We had to go out and buy more. The dishes arrived safe and sound. They were packaged well and were delivered very quickly. They have a good weight and feel in your hand. Didn’t notice any manufacturing flaws or blemishes (bought two sets). Banged one pretty hard, by accident, and didn’t manage to break it. I heated up food in the microwave and the plates did not get hot. My only issue is that these dishes are advertised as being white and they are light gray. The band on the rim is not black, it is a darker gray. See my attached picture on a white table. I will keep them because I do like them. I just wish that they were the color that I wanted.. Deborah.
