I had a cracked plasterboard ceiling where it had seam tape constantly coming apart. Surface was flat, but seam tape just would not hold... So, decided to try these Polystyrene Clue up Ceiling Tile.. I prepainted them white before gluing them up.. I got my center lines and started from center out so tile would be balanced on the ceiling... The ceiling looks great... Feels like I am sleeping in an old Victorian Church since ceiling are done. I liked it so much I installed these tiles in my small bathroom ceiling... Yes it’s styrofoam, but that makes it super easy to install IF you actually read the directions and use the correct adhesive. You can paint is using standard latex wall paint if you’re careful it’ll look amazing. Very easy to cut very easy to install. I painted mine first then over rolled and caulked the seams after I installed a few. If you get the 3d ones I would get an air sprayer and put 2 coats of paint on then install caulk and paint the seams. As with anything if you want good results read the directions first look up the videos and take your time.
