Love these tiles. I looked at several terrazzo look options like Grist, Grain, and Venice, but this one stood out as both more affordable and noticeably higher quality. I used the matte finish on the master bathroom floor for better slip resistance and the polished/glossy finish on the walls for a clean, elevated look. The inspiration for this collection comes from the flooring recovered from an old country home in Romagna, dating back to the early 1900s, when cement began to be used as a binder for renovation work, but pieces of marble or recycled materials were used as insets. In the porcelain stoneware of I COCCI, the grain size varies depending on the size of the different pieces obtained from a single type of traditional white marble chips and white cotto. The mortar used is grey on the outside and white at the core. The collection features a base tile with the same “gravelly” pattern present on the decorative element.

I ordered the Bright White 24x24 Matte Square Porcelain tile samples and was genuinely impressed. The matte finish gives it a clean, modern look that feels elevated without being flashy. A one-step formula that cleans, shines and protects in a one-time and labor-saving step. This product is safe to use on Forbo Marmoleum products. It is also non-toxic, bio-degradable, and has no harsh chemicals.

This product imparts a greater gloss than Marmoleum has out of the box. I'd call it satin. We like the shine. Since it is a Forbo product it should be the most compatible treatment available. The instructions say it both cleans and shines though it makes sense to thoroughly sweep then clean the floor with mild detergent and water or the Forbo cleaner first.
