Installation was a bit tricky as this was the first custom shower drain I have installed but I was able to figure it out. Once installed this drain is awesome. However, there's no mention or photo that shows this part is only the 'sleeve' that is inserted into the rough-in mix valve - it doesn't include the internal cartridge (must purchase separately if needed). When my original Moen hand held shower handle broke after ten years (and being dropped) I was preparing to install a whole new shower unit into my standing shower.
