Really great price for this Tramontina skillet with lid. The nonstick ceramic interior is actually beautiful and works great. Easy to handwash and also dishwasher safe. As empty nesters, especially with higher food costs currently, we have been eating smaller portions. Moving from a 14 inch skillet to this 11 inch skillet has been the perfect way to be sure we only cook enough food we both can actually eat and not worry about wasting leftovers needlessly. I had purchased an 8-inch GreenPan from Wayfair previously. I recently fried tofu in that pan. Frying tofu in a stainless steel or cast iron pan was difficult because the tofu sticks too much. It was easy in the GreenPan, and cleanup was no problem. I decided I needed a bigger GreenPan. The price for the 10-inch and 12-inch set was a bargain - just $20 more than the 12-inch pan along. We have a gas range, which seems to heat up most handles and utensils. With the GreenPan, the handle stays relatively cool. While this is one of my favorite pans, it is NOT non-stick as promoted. Everything sticks if you dont use oil, butter, or spray. I have NEVER washed it in the dishwasher, so that aint it. The rectangular shape of this pan was inspired by the Japanese makiyakinabe pans that are used for rolled omelets called tamagoyaki. The rectangular omelet can be filled and rolled evenly and then cut into slices with an identical diameter.
