"Abercrombie's Expedition to Ticonderoga" by Frederick Coffay Yohn portrays a key moment from the French and Indian War (1754–1763), specifically General James Abercrombie's ill-fated expedition against the French-held Fort Carillon (later renamed Fort Ticonderoga) in July 1758. Despite their superior numbers, the British suffered a devastating defeat on July 8, 1758, due to poor planning and strong French fortifications under the command of General Louis-Joseph de Montcalm. The painting captures the determination of the British forces as they embarked on their mission, unaware of the disastrous outcome awaiting them.

The cleaning solution offers an easy way to remove creases, wrinkles, and static from a wide range of water-safe fabrics. With just a simple spay and a gentle stretch, wrinkles vanish. The cleaning solution will not alter the color, texture, or feel of fabrics, and contains a special soil repellent that helps to prevent clothing, draperies, and other fabrics from re-soiling. The cleaning solution is great for travel and other times when ironing is impractical! How and why the cleaning solution works: Clothing and other fabrics can develop surface properties that lead to creases and wrinkles. The process of laundering can generate static with additional electrical charges that intensify these properties and create “static cling” as well as heavy wrinkling. The specially developed cationic and anionic surfactants within the cleaning solution are designed to dissipate these forces by acting as an anti-static agent, while they also serve to soften, relax, and smooth out wrinkled surfaces. In addition, special anti-soiling agents within the cleaning solution act to repel soils, helping to keep fabrics cleaner, and longer.
