The only snafu was getting the shelf support brackets into place because the cabinet is snug on the sides to the wall studs. My husband had to route out the studs a bit so that the support brackets would sit properly. The safe was packaged very well with no damage during transportation. It took two people to hold and put together. You just screw the screws in the sheet metal. It’s a decent gun safe (cabinet) to lock guns away but not overly heavy duty. It does come with bolts to bolt to the floor which is what we will be doing so it’s not picked up and hauled off. I was genuinely impressed with the packaging. Each piece was individually wrapped and had a metal frame inside the box to prevent damage. Unfortunately it quickly went down hill from there. I received zero instructions so an estimated 20 minute assembly turned into 2 hours. Each of the pieces are held in with just self-tappets while majority of the holes do not line up. Make sure you have a drill/bits because I cant imagine using the provided screw driver to drive the screws into place. I wouldn't trust this to keep my firearms safe at all. This gun safe is just what I needed. It's not so heavy that I can't scoot it around. We did screw it to the wall so it's nice a secure, no one can get to the screws without opening the safe. The instruction booklet could definitely be improved. It took us a bit to figure out where the battery goes and how to get the keypad off. Until we got that off, we did not know where the key goes because it is not illustrated in the booklet. However, once you get the keypad off the key hole is in the middle. The locking mechanism seems very sturdy. I love the touchpad, both my husband and I were able to program our fingerprints. It does not state how many you can have so I'm not sure on that.
