Gerber isnt as well-known a brand as some others, but when I was shopping for fixtures for a full bathroom, it was carried by a local, highly-respected plumbing supply store, and I wound up choosing them for their design. Looks great. The strip that keeps water from flowing out the bottom of the door isn’t adhesive enough so I’m going to have to glue it down with something stronger. Until I do that, I just keep the door slightly ajar about a 5 degree angle while in the shower (my door opens into the shower) and the water rolls down the door and into the drain. That’s why I’m so glad the hinges were reversible and I could set the door to open into the shower, a big deal because I didn’t have space to open the shower into the room. Also the shower came with more than enough of that strip that goes at the bottom in case I should have to cut another piece I’ll have enough. No other water issues Another reviewer mentioned that it should’ve came with two of those L shaped wall brackets, I agree that would make it more sturdy. It seemed wobbly when it was first assembled but once the silicon was dry it’s pretty solid, you have to be very careful those first few days until it dries though. The glass is beautiful the hinges are not too shiny and look sturdy. I squeegee the glass almost daily because it’s fun but even when I don’t, there aren’t any spots. Nice piece, but it's really more of an institutional item and assumes that you are replacing an existing urinal or have framing in place to accommodate an install. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports. Feel so spoiled in this tub! It is a wonderful soaking tub and looks awesome in the space. The higher ends make it easy to relax your head on while soaking. My husband and I can enjoy together as it is big enough for the 2 of us. I went with the 67 long because it was wider than the longer one and so glad I did. My only complaint is that sometimes I hit the drain with my bottom and it pops up very easily! Good for a laugh when that happens!!! So glad I went with Vintage Tub and Bath for this purchase!
