Out of the box, this griddle will NOT fit a Prestige 450, but I found it was easily altered to fit. As it is designed to fit the larger surface area of a Prestige 500, the rear spacer needs 1/4” cut off each side, and a small notch cut (see attached photos). The griddle is also too large front to back, but a couple of self-tapping screws along the back edge and inside the front lip of the barbecue prevent any movement. This griddle is really well made. Being stainless steel, there’s no seasoning needed - just clean with water after use to steam clean any food residue off. This is a nice stable base that was well packaged (so much better than Build) and I’m happy with how well the dual flush tank works. No issues with needing to flush again or unclog anything. I’m also pleasantly surprised that the shape doesn’t seem to encourage ‘streaking’. It may be that the water level is high enough inside the bowl or it could be that it’s new and clean...? The base rests on the outside edges AND some interior supports, so our not level floor would not let the base sit flush on the floor. Some plastic shims in the back resolved the issue.. Anonymous. This pot is great quality! It’s got a nice weight to it and is super stout. It also fits great inside pots from other makers. This 5qt stainless steel was a gift to me and has been great for daily use. I recently switched to all stainlesss steel pots from non stick and this has been the best so far.
