To make sure everything fits perfectly, there are Unica shower bars in different lengths, with shower hose and brackets, to suit all conventional hand showers. Whoever uses the bathtub for bathing and showering would also want to be as flexible as possible when positioning the shower head. In the shower, hip height is sufficient as a lower limit; there you should perhaps opt for the 24" wallbar or you could go for a 36" wallbar depending on your needs. It brings incredible amounts of freedom of movement, making it perfect for families with children and grandparents. To help ensure that the shower hose is a perfect length it is included along with many bars.

The sliding handshower holder allows you to easily move the shower to the correct height, but also allows you to use the handshower freely to clean the shower or wash a pet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an antique "Pedestal Base" cast Iron tub with a ceiling mounted curtain surround. The Locarno 36" Wallbar allows me to mount a hand held shower head which is typically found on this vintage tub. The Wallbar has a sliding cradle which supports the shower head at any height desired by the bather. The cradle locks at the chosen height by a quarter turn of a simple lever. The Wallbar comes with a 63" chromed flexible hose which connects to the tub diverter faucet valve at one end and to your favorite shower head on the other end. The shower head connection fitting on the hose is tapered and just drops easily into the sliding cradle. The Wallbar installation is straight forward. A drilling template is included for convenience and installation instructions are included, although they are fairly simple with little amplifying information, such as drill bit sizes etc. Locarno recommends a qualified plumber do the installation, but any "Handy" person with common household tools should be able to install it. Locarno also cautions that the Wallbar not be used as a hand hold as it is only secured to the wall by two (2) wood screws. This rough valve by Hansgrohe is expertly designed to fit the Axor Starck Rough-in Valve for Starck Shower Column. This valve is required for installation and will not work on any product except the Starck Shower Column.

This helps in the sustainable use of resources and reduces the plastic content in the environment. The brushed surface in is easy to clean. It corresponds to the color of the hansgrohe special surfaces for fittings (FinishPlus). So everything fits perfectly together. Easy to install. The shower door handle is placed on the door from the inside and outside and fastened with two screws. The hole spacing is approx. 13.8 in; the Diameter of the drill hole is approx 0.5 in. The glass thickness can be between 0.25-0.5 in.

If you want the finish to match and want a very well designed and precision made drain, then expect to budget something like this. It is very well made and designed. It is flexible in installation options where it can be flush to the wall, in the middle of the field or at the perimeter for a curb-less design. If you have HansGrohe fixtures then this a nice matching choice. The finish on these drains matches perfectly the finish on their fixtures. 5 stars for premium quality, performance and design.
