Gerber isnt as well-known a brand as some others, but when I was shopping for fixtures for a full bathroom, it was carried by a local, highly-respected plumbing supply store, and I wound up choosing them for their design. Now that Im redoing the kitchen, I especially looked for their options. Im glad I did, because it looks great. Its a tad shorter than other similar options, which is a good thing for my application. We have been very happy with this shower door. The matte black finish looks great and gives our bathroom a clean, modern look. The glass feels sturdy and well-made, and door slides smoothly. Installation was fairly straightforward, but I would definitely recommend having two people for the job due to the weight of the glass panels. One of the features we were most interested in was the nano-coated glass, and it has not disappointed. We have hard water, yet the glass has stayed surprisingly clean and easy to maintain. We also haven’t experienced any leaks since installation. Overall, this shower door looks fantastic, functions exactly as it should, and has been a great addition to our bathroom. We haven't installed it yet. But love love love the matte finish. It was packed and crated very well and the delivery guys were very patient with me as I wanted it to be opened fully and uncrated before they left. All in all happy thus far. This framed glass shower door has a proven performance and surpasses the competition with its handcrafted quality and additional features. The sliding glass panels include two towel bars that will attach to the panel framing. anodizing aluminum hardware helps prevent rusting or corrosion. The header comes with a safety T-lock that ensures the unit’s stability. Moderate DIY Skills are recommended for the installation of the shower enclosure. To reduce the water they recommend placing the interior panel closest to the showerhead. Ensure your measurements are precise and finished wall material is in place before measuring for your shower door. The header and rail will be shipped long and will need cut to size during installation. Tools needed to install the door are: tape measure, level, hacksaw, drill, 7/64-inch, 1/8-inch, ¼-inch drill bits, #2 Phillips screwdriver, 3/16-inch wrench, sharp knife, and caulking (clear silicone recommended). Optional tools include a miter box for cutting parts to length, files, center punch, and masking tape. I’m very pleased with these flat black shower doors. They arrived quickly and were well-packaged, which made the whole process smooth from the start. The clean, modern design looks great in the bathroom and really elevates the space. The only downside is with the bypass doors—they really need to stay in the correct position. If they shift, it can create a gap that allows water to escape, which is a bit inconvenient. Aside from that minor issue, they’re a solid choice and look fantastic once installed.. Anonymous. NJ.
