We have had a difficult time finding a shower door for our shower and this unit was a perfect fit for what we needed. The directions were clear and easy to follow, and installation was easy. We did have to cut the top support bar with a scroll saw, but everything went fine. The color was exactly as seen, and is much like a dark espresso color. The delivery drivers were extremely courteous, wonderful, and careful with the product, too! The door opening was smaller than what we had before, but wide enough where you do not feel it is too small when entering or exiting the shower. The door closes smoothly and we could not be happier with the product. We found we needed extra caulking at the base on the inside of the shower after installation, but the fix did the trick. Looks great. The strip that keeps water from flowing out the bottom of the door isn’t adhesive enough so I’m going to have to glue it down with something stronger. Until I do that, I just keep the door slightly ajar about a 5 degree angle while in the shower (my door opens into the shower) and the water rolls down the door and into the drain. That’s why I’m so glad the hinges were reversible and I could set the door to open into the shower, a big deal because I didn’t have space to open the shower into the room. Also the shower came with more than enough of that strip that goes at the bottom in case I should have to cut another piece I’ll have enough. No other water issues Another reviewer mentioned that it should’ve came with two of those L shaped wall brackets, I agree that would make it more sturdy. It seemed wobbly when it was first assembled but once the silicon was dry it’s pretty solid, you have to be very careful those first few days until it dries though. The glass is beautiful the hinges are not too shiny and look sturdy. I squeegee the glass almost daily because it’s fun but even when I don’t, there aren’t any spots.
