Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports. This Trinsic rough-in kit may be installed prior to choosing the specific trim and finish. Allows for construction or a renovation project to proceed without delays when narrowing down a design style. The Trinsic trim kit is sold separately and is required to complete the unit. This was a breeze to apply. Simply shook the container to mix the contents and then applied with a paint roller. Avoided work during direct sunlight hours. Re-applied until the container was empty. The vertically adjustable frame offers flexibility in the drain barrier also: so the system can be adjusted to the height of the tiles – for floor-level installation without trip hazard.
