In the shower, hip height is sufficient as a lower limit; there you should perhaps opt for the 24" wallbar or you could go for a 36" wallbar depending on your needs. It brings incredible amounts of freedom of movement, making it perfect for families with children and grandparents. We chose a rectangular stainless steel undermount sink for our new outdoor kitchen space and I already love the direction it’s going. The sharp, clean lines give it a really modern look and it feels like it’s going to elevate the entire setup. The size is exactly what I was looking for and should provide plenty of usable space for prepping and cleaning outdoors. The front offset drain was a big selling point since it keeps it out of the main working area and makes the basin feel more open and functional. I also love that it includes a drain basket, such a simple but thoughtful detail. We did hit a minor setback with our timeline so it’s still in the box and not installed yet, but I’ll be sharing updated photos as soon as it’s in place. The RainDrain Match 31 1/2" drain trim (finish set) in brushed stainless steel from hansgrohe is a flexible drainage solution for installation flush with the back wall or freestanding in the shower area. The shower drain trim's brushed stainless steel finish goes particularly well with modern bathroom designs. Alternatively, the channel can be tiled at the back also (max. tile thickness 18 mm). The vertically adjustable frame offers flexibility in the drain barrier also: so the system can be adjusted to the height of the tiles – for floor-level installation without trip hazard. The result meets the requirements of a barrier-free shower area. The innovative high-tech silicone membrane also ensure that hair and dirt do not get stuck.
