It’s a beautiful shower door. Heavy. I was hesitant on ordering based on a couple of the low reviews. We didn’t install it ourselves our contractor did. It was difficult to find the shower door I wanted for our tiny bathroom and this was perfect. These semi-frameless glass shower enclosures enhance the look of any bathroom with bypass shower panels free from aluminum framing. Both 3/16-inch glass panels move within the enclosure. One panel includes a pull handle for one edge of the glass and the other panel has a towel bar that wraps around the panel. All Basco shower enclosures are backed by a limited lifetime warranty. Moderate DIY Skills are recommended for the installation of the shower enclosure. To reduce the water they recommend placing the interior panel to be positioned close to the showerhead. Ensure your measurements are precise and finished wall material is in place before measuring for your shower door. The header and rail will be shipped long and will need cut to size during installation. Tools needed to install the door are: Tape measure, level, hacksaw, drill,7/64-inch, 1/8-inch, ¼-inch drill bits, #2 Philips screwdriver, 3/16-inch wrench, sharp knife, and caulking (clear silicone recommended) Optional tools include a miter box for cutting parts to length, files, center punch, and masking tape. Lower rating bc I had to get 3 shipped… fedex broke 2 so not in the seller ! I needed this specific door type food my small bathroom /layout . I didn’t want 2 sliding doors. Just had them installed & they are PERFECT & beautiful. We are so happy with the outcome. We didn’t install the left wall bracket bc I didn’t feel we needed it & didn’t want another metal piece on the wall. Great quality& it’s 74” va most 72” doors since we have ceiling showerhead.
