It works, but you have to be intentional about how you mount it. All three joints move in a single direction, so don’t assume you will have the ability to change the direction later on. I have a similar mount-on-the-wall light which allow for more movement and I somewhat expected that to be a standard. Also, you should plan to use a shorter bulb if you don’t want it sticking out. Great light, perfect brightness, love the tunability, and easy to install. While I appreciate that the light bars/tubes are inserted into the main fixture body for ease of installation, I think this creates the lights' only flaw. The light tubes is a loose fit into the main fixture. There is nothing securing and holding the bar out of place. I was rotating the bar to set the perfect angle and it would come out of the fixture. When it comes out of the fixture it resets the colour temperature to 6000K or it turns off completely, so you kinda have to set it in place, secure it into the fixture, and then adjust the colour temperature. It's a bit finnicky but once its set its perfect. If you plan to adjust the angle often for task lighting it may be a nuisance. Lu. Toronto. Sun May 10 2026
