Depending on how you want to use these depends on if this is light set you should choose. I've wanted to change out our ugly, old under cabinet lighting since we moved in, and this SEEMED like exactly what I was looking for...especially when I saw "Compatible with Alexa". (LOVE THAT!!!!) So far, I haven't had any real and true trouble - I mean, the strips feel like quality, act like quality, color changing is nice, and Alexa works fine (so far - maybe too early to tell yet). However, there are a couple things that I DO have a problem with. #1 is that I see no way to make these hard-wired... only docked 1 star because I got plugging in to work in this situation, but not having the future option to wire is annoying. #2 - These don't feel bright enough to be 36w - I'm no expert but isn't 36w led supposed to be bright, like bright, bright? I THINK 36w led is supposed to be something like 2800 lumens, equivalent to like 150w? So, it must have meant something different. Which, if specified in the info, certainly wasn't anywhere easy to see. These are not bright enough to work for me as I intended...as an accent light, yes.
