There is a distance mark on each chair in the same exact location. I requested a replacement, however the company said it was due to shipping. There was not shipping damage to the boxes, it looks as if the chairs came out of production with this flaw. It looks as though the acrylic material the chairs are made of were marred during production and send as is. The company was willing to take a percentage off in a partial refund, but frankly if I had returned them, I would have had to pay for return shipping for 4 damaged chairs.
