My wife got this for me on a lark. We recently remodeled and repainted my office, and she felt like the light strand would make it kinda fun. She was 100% correct! The LED light strand adds a certain je ne sais quois to the room. The office is nautically themed, so one might expect sparse decorating, with paneled brown walls… this look, with the lighting, looks very nice. The remote control has several buttons that let you change colors and animations. The only issue is, and they address this in the included manual, when you size it you have to cut at specific areas. They work all the time and can be cut on or off which is nice. It is just the lights. You have to purchase a controller and wiring separately. Wasn’t too bad running the wiring in the rocks. We were going to use conduit but just buried the wiring well and nothing ever goes in the rocks. We loved this lighting so much we bought more and will be putting in our front yard as well. Love this animated message board. I don’t have a window large enough to hold it right now so spread across the couch to play with this thing. It is going in a window at our business to display our name and hours. Works great and very easy to use their app. I did try to upload our logo to it but it tried to spread it across the entire length so that didn’t work well. I’ve had these types of stick-on LED lights before but this is the longest string of LED lights I’ve tried before. I was able to line the entire kitchen, which I was surprised by.
