This product is ok. It's a little tough to work with, not very flexible and comes wrapped in a coil, like a snake. You have to let it soften up and unwind it before you can work with it. Use your hands to get it to conform to the wood planks. I used drywall screws to hold it in place. Since it was in the ceiling you can't see the screws. I don't think that glue would have worked, too much resistance. It's really expensive for what it actually is, which is a strip of rubber with knobs on it, but it does the job of hiding the seams in my wood ceiling beams and pretending to be wrought iron straps.. This balance beam comes folded in a box just pull it out and start using it. It comes with a storage bag and the balance beam has handles and I love that it folds in half. It also has a grippy bottom so it won’t slide and Velcro to attach to others if you want to make it longer. The price is very reasonable. It’s a great investment for potential years of use. We got it to add to home made obstacle courses and my son loves it. It’s nice that it is so low to the ground for little ones to practice balance and agility. I didn’t realize that it was covered with suede type material, I thought it was a gym mat material instead but it seems like it will still clean up nicely. The color options are fun too.. Allie. NC.
