Beautiful shower but read reviews and watch videos! The shower works perfectly if installed correctly but there are a few steps vital to the installation that are not mentioned. 1. The fittings that go into the plumbing are European and not NPT. They are knuckled and very loose once screwed in. If you try to use plumbers tape the knuckled ridges will tear it off.. You therefore must use pipe sealant (all the reviews describing this step have been taken off, i assume the sites didn't want to promote brands of pipe sealant so I won't include any in the review) or it will leak. Once the sealant is applied you have a few minutes to adjust it properly but it will not move anymore once dry so be careful! 2. The temperature can be adjusted by removing the cap over the thermostat and unscrewing the module. There is a plastic ring with small increments that let you increase the temperature and reposition the module, otherwise you will have a cold shower even if you turn it past the safety zone.. We spent a lot of time looking for just the right kitchen faucet as we remodel our older, new home kitchen to boot. Although there are cheaper faucets available, this particular one struck a chord with us. A beautiful mix of black and brushed nickel to coordinate with the countertops and kitchen amenities. With its square wall flange, the hansgrohe FixFit E wall connection pairs particularly well with a geometric faucet design. Installation is extremely simple: the FixFit E is screwed onto an existing water outlet on the wall (size G ½; DN15). After that, any commercially available shower hose can be connected. All hoses with a conical nut will fit into the holder – including shower hoses from the hansgrohe range that are identical in colour also. You can create your own dream bathroom without much effort.
