The rectangular shape of this pan was inspired by the Japanese makiyakinabe pans that are used for rolled omelets called tamagoyaki. The rectangular omelet can be filled and rolled evenly and then cut into slices with an identical diameter. Bread pudding, banana bread and brownies for the family and keto versions of these treats for myself. Everything bakes beautifully in this and releases very easily. I absolutely love this 20 piece ceramic cookware set. I have already made dozens of meals with it and it has quickly become my favorite cookware in the kitchen.
