Package included another box with the universal rough in. My husband is a plumber, and was a little apprehensive to install a shower head of this size because the weight can become an issue further down the road. He said this one felt more lightweight than others he has installed. Matches really nicely with our shower tile. I’m very happy with the finish, and the water flow is nice without being too slow or overpowering. HUGE shower head, almost comical. Makes for a really relaxing shower. The pipe that leads to the shower head is slightly narrow, and I really hope it doesn’t bend overtime. One other thing I wanted to note is that the box reads “guaranteed for life”. LOVE THAT. Wayfair should review timelines for submitting reviews and increase to 6-12 months the timeframe so that customers can give more informed view on the product. The installer had no issues in plugging everything in, i have used it with copper lines, the stops are really useful to test everything and the preliminary tests were working all good. We did a partial remodel and the tile regrout is next. Tub reglaze was done just before thus install and a truly great idea. Unfortunately, our plumber felt land locked into using a Symmons system to match our existing Symmons valve. We could not make Delta system work without a massive tear out. Universal valve didn’t solve the fit and screws in wrong location. So this Symmons was forced as Plan B. The Delta champagne gold was our intention and had already been installed in vanity without a problem. Not loving this very polished brass color. On the BRIGHT side The shower head is huge with 7 variations for water patterns. This is a 3rd floor main bathroom and I wish it had more pressure. 1.5 gpm and we are on a well. There were no install problems encountered by plumber using our original Symmons valve. And because it is a modestly priced unit, maybe we will swap out to a detachable spray head later on. Just know on the color - this is NOT even close to the Delta champagne gold. That is softer dreamy color and all quality, not at all like Symmons brushed brass.
